Staff Information
Angela Foley
Angela has been a certified personal trainer for thirteen years. She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (Performance Enhancement Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer), American Council on Exercise, Reformer Certified Specialist and Resist-A-Ball. After graduating from the University of Illinois in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science, she furthered her education at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy where Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics were the core subjects.
Her experience from working in DePaul University’s Athletic Training Room, working at various locations as a massage therapist, training clients at various health clubs and working side by side with a chiropractor at Total Athleticare, has provided a bigger picture of what physical fitness means. She believes building a strong core and developing postural alignment is the basis of reaching all of ones fitness goals. She has completed three marathons and now runs for enjoyment. She improved her marathon time with each race by training better and through proper nutrition.
She can not only help clients exceed their fitness goals, but in turn, her programs will help clients function daily pain-free, improve their sleeping patterns, relieve stress, improve their posture and overall well-being, and change the quality of their life. It is her goal to provide all of her clients with a safe, fun and effective workout regimen.
